In the morning, we took a train to the center of Zagreb, where we were scheduled to meet with @buzzbeergeek !
He showed us around, and we had a coffee (smoothie) at a place that claimed to serve “The worst coffee in town”.
Later, we had some vegetarian lunch (Falafel <3 ).

Our tour lead us through the typical touristic sites, until we finally ended up at the bar where @buzzbeergeek does his beer tastings. @reggaemuffin could try it too this time!
Finally, @buzzbeergeek said goodbye (to go write a post) and @reggaemuffin and me were alone again. We promptly entered the “museum of broken relationships”, not exactly the most romantic place to go. But it’s quite interesting, as long as you’re willing to read a lot. Some people in there loudly complained about the amount of reading required …
Our next stop was the botanical garden of Zagreb, where I took MANY pictures of flowers. Enjoy :P
Someone give him a seater, because he's ... a little chilli
Dinner was at a place near the train station, where a super friendly waitress recommended something that contained the perfect amount of garlic. You wonder what the perfect amount is like?

For dessert, we went to “The Cookie factory”. Their warm brownie with peanut butter ice cream broke my heart, as I don’t know if I’ll ever return to Zagreb …
Beautiful architecture of the city. And I loved nature photographs. It's good that you can enjoy other places. Greetings from Venezuela. I use a translator but I love your blog
This "Museum of Broken Relationships" has got to be the most amazing museum I've ever heard about. I absolutely must visit this place; even if just to mention to new acquaintances that I have been there.
"No, it's not a metaphor; it's a literal museum in Croatia; here, let me show you pictures..." ^_^
:D
Comments I got were like "That's not very romantic"
Giving Zag-rep a good rep:)

What a beautiful place is Zagreb! Hope one day I will do a visit to this little-great country
I'm still a newbie here, but I believe a bit smaller images would help reading the post and loading time :) Anyway great post and inspiring place, need to visit it someday umh.
You're correct. But usually I don't post images and atm I'm too lazy to downsize all the images..
If I tried to attract new readers, I should probably do that. But this series is mostly intended to show my existing readers how my tour went. :P
Anyway, thanks for the advice, even though I won't be using it.
