Hello Everyone!
The next set of my Venice photos I want to share with you guys are of the beautiful canals. Venice has so many great characteristics which make her, her. And, the canals are one of my favorite qualities the Floating City has to offer.
In Mary McCarthy’s 1956 book Venice Observed, she wrote “The perennial wonder of Venice is to peer at herself in her canals and find that she exists – incredible as it seems. It is the same reassurance that a looking glass offers us: the guarantee that we are real.”
Venezia’s canals are filled with lovely turquoise water, lined with beautiful pastel colored homes and laundry hanging from above. There’s something beautiful around every corner.
This is just the first set of canal photos I have. I will be posting a part two with the rest. I love this city and the canals are definitely my favorite part of it.
Anyway, thanks for coming by! Don't forget to follow!
