That is interesting to learn that marble is one of the rare material in Korea, looking at carving, my first impression was that there is a dragon because of the pattern of the back and the claw. It is easy to feel that the person who created Pagoda really enjoyed his work and it must have taken his a long time to complete it. At the end it is a beautiful reminder of Goryeo dynasty time.
