Yes, if we can't share our yarn, our experiences, travel can often be a solitary journey. To share our travels not only validates our own existence but allows others to visualize and decide their own outcomes in a more informed fashion. But whether they choose and build on the shoulders and the writings of someone or a publication worthwhile is one of the challenges many face. With the plethora of travel tales and literature at our fingertips, its too easy to choose the wrong text and go off on the whimsical journeys of madmen. Then again..the road less travelled is often the most interesting - is it not?
