"Post and Opinion" - My "Post" on Love for Travel and Possible Euro - Asia Backpacking this summer!

"If you look into my blog, you can see my post describing a new segment I've started called "Post and Opinion".
The idea is to get some active communication going and bounce some beliefs and opinions around in an open-minded discussion! "

Hello Everyone!

I just wanted to pop in and say "Hi!".
I was completely locked out of my Steem account but was fortunate enough to find my key a week or so later! WOO!

My "POST"

All my life I've always wanted to travel the world (who hasn't right?) and experience the many beauties of the world and explore new cultures. This year I have been very fortunate. I had it hard for a LONG time and I figured out why.
It wasn't easy, but by dismissing any and all negativity in my life and embracing only positives, I have come to drastically change my life in EVERY way and aspect this past year and I have never had a greater appreciation for life and everything it has to offer. (Don't worry, I'll cut it here, don;t want to turn this into a "how to change your life seminar") :D

I am very excited for this coming summer because I want to travel Europe and Asia. I'm skipping a semester and just going to throw myself out into the world. No plans, no set destinations (except my original starting point of course :P) I just want to flow with the wind, go where ever it takes me. Has anyone else done anything like this or want/plan to some day? Does anyone want to join me? Recommendations? upcoming trips / travel plans of your own?

Lets gets come conversation going! That is the whole point of this Segment anyway!

Much Love! -G

My friends and I flew to Thailand nine years ago to start out are travels with no idea what we would find. After some time in Australia and New Zealand, I went back to Thailand. A year later I moved to Bangkok and have been living here for almost nine years!

That is so amazing to hear! Believe it or not, I have an uncle living in Thailand for over 10 years and was considering Thailand as my starting point as well!

I'm very interested in Australia and New Zealand as well, we'll have to see if the wind takes me there :)

Thanks for sharing! I love to hear experiences like these!

Great decision, we're sure you will make some meaningful experiences and won't regret it. Just take your time and try to not squeeze in as many places/activities/"must-sees" in this short period of your life.

Thanks so much for the relpy and the advice! Yes I'm so excited to finally be able to start seeing the world that I am definately liable to "over-do" it haha. But I will not rush. I will spend the rest of my life exploring and learning so there is some time for me :) Thanks again.
