We have two boys, 5 & 7 years old…we know that you are thinking! And we are fulltime on the road, so homeschooling and visiting famous landmarks is a must! Up to yesterday we had done our fair share of research on Mount Rushmore so when we pulled in…or I should say…went under this amazing Tunnel Rock Bridge…

and came into this quaint Town of Keystone…(The Sturgis Festival is going on as you can see!!!)

...we decided last minute to see our President’s Faces a little differently. At 5 and 7 years old, it’s what you DO while learning that will keep memories forever! So…we decided to take a GONDOLA UP to view the ROCK and as a way of getting down from the lookout, take a CART SLIDE!!!!

Then…we SPOTTED Mt. RUSHMORE!!!

We didn’t expect to see so many trees until we discovered it was in the Black Hills!
