Well the Daily View of Lisbon while SteemFest² is Underway went out the window when I arrived in Lisbon and realized that my Steemit password was not on my tablet so I couldn't post. So now that I am back at my computer in Germany, this post is a compilation of the entire week in Lisbon.
Off to the Hamburg airport after arriving at the Train Station.
Finally arrived at the Hostel in at 2:00 AM. @luzcypher was there waiting for me. Good to see him again after a year.
@luzcypher wanted to got the Hackathon so we were off to the LX Factory. A very cool artsy fartsy street.
Here are some of my images while @luzcypher went upstairs to the Hackathon.
The Hackathon was upstairs.
We met up with @jza had a beer and then decided to go to the Time Out Market the coolest food market you've ever seen! So Inexpensive too!
Here's what @luzcypher had. Figs stuffed with prosciutto and just plain prosciutto with bread and cheese.
Fresh Seafood Abounds!
Fresh roasted chestnuts are everywhere on the streets.
One day @luzcypher and I met up with @heimindanger the developer of D-Tube, @pnc and @jza and I had some sauteed shrimp with boiled potatoes for 10 Euro (can you believe it).
We went back to the LX Factory and checked out the viewpoint from on top of one of the buildings.
A small village made of containers and old buses.
Afterwards @pnc and I left @luzcypher behind and went to the AirBnb of @heimindanger, @jza and @pnc to meet up with one of the founders of IPFS to talk some geek speek.
The view from their AirBnB.
We all went out to a very nice Italian restaurant. I had a great ice cream dish.
At one of the after parties at the Snooker Club I hung out outside and @ballinconscious gave me a beer and I got to meet a bunch of Steemians. @luzcypher got to talk with @ned and that made him really happy!
So @luzcypher had to return to Cancun and I had a couple of more days to explore Lisbon. The following images are from my explorations.
Beer Boat.
Paella!
I had a such a great experience in Lisbon that I am seriously considering this place as my future winter home.
Wow, you really got an eyeful, such good sights.
I could live in Lisbon most definitely. The city has so much to offer and it's reasonably affordable. I will go back for sure and spend more time there.
It was a blast seeing you and getting to hang out in such a cool city. Great pics you posted here. Thanks
was good hanging out with you at steemfest2. We had some good times at the snooker club ^_^
Good meeting you too buddy!
We had some really good times indeed ^_^
Glad to have found you on here, and what a beautiful post as well!!! How are you doing still?
Cool buddy. Had a great time meeting you too! Doing real well other than being back in the cold north although it is quite peaceful here. I still have to go and checkout your map.
I feel you, not a big fan of the cold weather here in Belgium either, haha!
Do so whenever you have time, no rush!
