Austria is one of my favorite European countries, and Salzburg is one of my top 5 citites. A goI found Austria to be even better than their more hyped neighbour, Switzerland. Switzerland has some great scenery in some parts, but with Austria, the whole country seems like a painting.rgeous place, expensive but worth every euro.This photo was taken from a bus window between Salzburg and Hallstatt.
