Brief visit to Tynec nad Sazavou

in #travel2 years ago

Oh boy, it has been a busy week at work!😤 I have some photos to share with you - quite ordinary, but somehow nice too. Last week I went to a town called Tynec nad Sazavou (translated as Tynec above the Sazava river). This lovely town was on my way to the horse farm, where my daughter spent her long weekend. Now, I guess I need to say a couple of words about the horses in the life of my family.

My daughter Mariam is absolutely nuts about horses. Literally, her first word was 'neigh' and when she learned to speak properly she'd keep repeating that she is a horse 😄 That love towards horses was quite unexpected from a city kid – she'd see horses mainly on TV, so we still have no idea about the origins of this obsession. We signed her up to kids horseback riding club when she was 6 and she is still there and loving it. So the reason to visit Tynec and surrounding was the farm nearby hosting a four-day camp for the equestrian kids. But let me show you the pictures!

This photo here is the only one that does not belong to me, it was taken by my daughter's friend, another horse lover.

The rest are mine and they are grouped in chronological order.

This one was taken when we were leaving the farm. Each time I see a rainbow I want to believe it is a good promise)

Horses saying - bye, guys, see you in four days, have fun without your nasty teenagers.

This is Tynec nad Sázavou, a medieval town an hour away from Prague. It was almost empty on the pre-holiday evening when we visited it.

Some dude was celebrating the upcoming Independence Day with a bottle of wine on the bench next to the castle, but left soon. I felt sorry to spoil this sad party. By the way, this part of the castle, Romanesque rotunda, is considered to be the oldest and is believed to be built in around 1200.

Just a couple more pretty and hallowiny pics.

unexpected obsession --

Destiny? Good when people know what they want from the very childhood. I wanted to establish a botanical garden but then the war started and I left my garden... Now I don't want a botanical garden, I have Thaland instead 😀 I hope to go there this winter for a long while if everything is fine.

Tynec nad Sazavou looks a beautiful place + horses so it is good grounds for photo stories - lucky you. 🙂 Hope to see more posts from there.

That obsession makes me think of reincarnation sometimes too)) Anyway, I do admire the strength and sustainability of this hobby.

I like Vake, I think it's cozy. But Avlabari is my love, I grew up there when it used to be a non-touristic ubani)

I have a feeling in Vake that I live in the modern comfortable city. But not much to take images of here imo. Avlabari is more interesting, and there are some corners that has a taste of authenticity. Although tourism has already penetrated much there.
