This camping area sounds Ah-Mazingggg🎶 though, it leaves this Canadian wondering about the safety of camping with aligators!!!!! I am not afraid of our eco systems here but, aligators seem very scary to me!! The beauty of the plants, birds, beach and the yumminess of the shrimp though certainly captured my attention!! Really sounds like a marvelous place!!!

Oh it truly was... it was breathtaking and there was a serene feeling there. To my knowledge the alligators rarely, if ever, come into the actual campground. They have plenty of action and excitement and room to roam in the adjacent marsh and lake... :-) . Of course with little kids I was on alert anyway!

Really lovely place. I grew up in SC. Edisto, which is near Charleston is also nice. There used to be a diaper service in Charleston (I had the only other one in SC way on the other side of the state), and they would do a vacation service I bet, which is like living in luxury. Not sure if they are still open, but it's a really nice option.

Oh wow that is tooo cool!!!! I mean really! For cloth diapering to be popular enough to support a service like that for vacationers? That is wonderful!!! (When we have bought the throw aways in the past we always make sure to buy the biodegradable ones, but cloth is of course a million times better)

Well, she had a service for people that live there but also offered it to vacationers. I would have done the same, but no one vacations in Spartanburg ;) Right after I started the service, we went to LA, and I made the totally crazy decision to take cloth diapers with me. Totally fine going out there and while there, but then when we were getting ready to come home I realized I was going to have to put a bag of dirty diapers in a suitcase and on a plane. It's one thing in a car, but never again on a plane. Biodegradables or vacation service only when planes are involved. Way too much of a pain.
