I took this photo during my visit to Harare, Zimbabwe last October. This is Africa Unity Square in downtown Harare. I like this, not because it's exotic or unique, but because it's completely ordinary. This was mid-morning so people are on their way to work, or perhaps taking a break, or walking to school. It's a reminder that, even continents apart, people are probably doing the exact same things you are.

Such an interesting perspective. It is crazy to think people around the globe think of where you live as a tourist destination and you go about your daily life dreaming about traveling to where they live because their home is a tourist destination to you.
