heyy! truth is i have had more good experiences with couchsurfing than bad ones. so you should definitely try it out. i have made some amazing frieds on couchsurfing and i have learned a lot! go for it! :)
This is so strange, I replied to this but not sure if the message sent bc it's not appearing. Anyhow, yes, heard positive couchsurfing stories too so happy to hear that you have good ones. For me, I'm more comfortable at a hostel if I want to be economical, but hey that's the beauty of travel we have choices!
