Nashville is a very neat place. While still in the Marine Corps and returning from duty in Panama during Operation Just Cause, my Marine buddy and I visited there while on leave. As we were both single at the time and young Marines, we did not visit many family-oriented tourist spots.
I also lived in Tennessee for sometime after leaving the service, both in Gainesboro (North-Central Tennessee) and Bristol (Eastern Tennessee). I worked in the tobacco fields for a season in Gainesboro; the hardest work I ever did in my life!
