Traveling :: Turks and Caicos, Dominic Republic, Curaçao, and Aruba

Sorry I’ve been MIA. I just got back from vacation and the internet while I was there was terrible!

I went on a Caribbean cruise on the Splendor of the Seas by Carnival. We normally go on Royal Caribbean ships. We enjoyed the cruise but think that Royal Caribbean is a better value.

The ports we went to were:
• Grand Turks, Turks and Caicos
• La Romana, Dominic Republic
• Willemstad, Curaçao
• Oranjestad, Aruba

I will talk about these more in depth on future posts this week.

• I absolutely love all of these ports. We went snorkeling in Grand Turk and it was beautiful
• In La Romana I wanted to go Catalina Island but it was raining over the island. We ended up going to Minitas Beach. It was very fun. My little brother and I played catch on the beach. The beach was a rocky by the shoreline so you had to be a little careful.
• In Curacao we decided to do a tour around the island. We went to Grot van Hato or Cave of Hato. It was really cool learning about the history of the caves. We then went to the Curaçao Liqueur Distillery. We finished our tour at Mambo Beach. We then took a taxi to downtown and walked back to the ship. The walk was beautiful The Queen Emma Bridge at night is a must see!
