Robotics is a very engaging field which requires a great deal of knowledge about mechanics, electronics and coding. I myself had a final year project on 'Manipulating Robotic arm' which didn't look as cool as the above but also used to move and lift objects! Seeing the photo brought back all the memories and efforts we had put in making the robotic arm.
Getting a scholarship is a great achievement and I sincerely wish him all the best in his life.
