The Queens Necklace (Mumbai, India): Stunning Yet Polluted

These shots were taken around noon here in Mumbai, India. I have family who lives here in Mumbai and am excited to continue touring around. The following shots show the beauty, yet polluted reality of the Queen's Necklace in Mumbai. 

The area is undoubtedly beautiful, but as we can there is a pollution which changes the color of the sky and even makes it difficult to see across to the other side of the bay. Hopefully the government and people of India will take it upon themselves to preserve this wonderful place.  

The Queen's Necklace receives it's name partially due to the shape of the water, and also since it lights up after dark. It is one of the best places to visit in Mumbai, and is crowded at just about any time of the day or night.
