Island of Pag is made from 270 km of magnificent gravelly beaches. Their positions will satisfy even the most demanding customers, from those who seek public beach equipped with all necessary facilities, to those who like hidden nooks and enjoyment of solitude. Pag beaches are ranging from rocky coastlines to finest sand.
The main beach of the town of Pag is Prosika. The length of this beach is about 800 meters long, with a mild sea slope that descends towards the open sea, which is especially suitable for families with small children. The beach is equipped with all necessary facilities where tourist can play beach volleyball, tennis, ride pedal boats, water scooter and go to restaurants. There is a big parking area behind the beach.
The beach Cista is very beautiful. Soft and very pleasant sand on this beach spreads even 50 meters from the shore, therefore I recommend Sveti Duh to the families with children.
On the part called Bošana beaches are predominantly rocky, less available and placed about 15 - minute drive from the town of Pag. Due to the multitude of sources, Bošana beaches are rich with less salty water, but are also somewhat cooler than the rest of the bay of Pag.
Beach called Zrće is located on the north side of the bay of Pag. Zrće is a highly entertaining, for those seeking a full day of fun. On the beach there are several entertainment facilities that are working during the day as cafes and during the night hours are converted into night clubs and discos. Night life of Zrće is enriched by appearances of various singers and DJs from local and foreign showbiz. Specificity of Zrće is that the entertainment program is conducted through a full 24 hours a day. Sorry, I don't have a photo :(
My favorite beach:
KUKURINA is the beautiful sandy beach. It is easily accessible being only 300 meters away to the northwest. The shore goes flatly for a few meters into the sea, so that young children and non-swimmers have plenty of space for undisturbed and safe bathing. The seabed is soft and only partially traversed by some rocks that are clearly visible from above the water. The green areas are ideal for relaxing hours that you will spend on this beach without leisure and dining services.
