Wow I have to say some good captures even if you say they dont do the locations justice they are nice, its not the first time I have heard when it comes to Notre Dame you really need to be there to feel how amazing the structure is also thanks for the support @rok-sivante as I am trying to make it to steemfest.
Paris had the best looking homeless people of anywhere I went in Europe
I love the street art pics, I always find it intriguing how so much work goes into pieces that may be very ephemeral.
Great Photos
Love your Paris post story and pictures here Rok!
wow, look at that face!!! shows success indeed!!! great city and lots of awesome photos , upped
and thanks for your advise on how to be successful here on steemit which motivated me to write my latest blog post (i refrenced you there) feel free to read it, more success.
Awesome Photos of Paris life and a beautiful description! i am very thankful @rok-sivante
If you don't speak french it is not easy in France because french people are ashamed of their bad language foreign capabilities and are often retiscent to speak in english ^^ Paris is a beautiful city but smaller cities and the countryside are much more enjoyable as a tourist in my opinion...
amazing shots! thanks for sharing
Like in forrestgump life is box of chocolates you never know what you get, life is full of excitements. Enjoy your life :-)
wow such effort and many amazing shots, i had to spend a while on this. Last time I was in Paris was September 11, 2001
Yep never forget that day. I did however get to see all of the sights.
Paris is is truly one of my favorite places on earth. I could post a tent in the Louvre courtyard and live happily to see it each morning. Do take the time to check out the Louvre and Sacre le Couer on your return to the city. If you liked Notre-Dame, you'll be thoroughly impressed.
That was by far the best travel piece that I've seen written on Steemit. I guess I am like you, in the part where you were pessimistic about such a long journey, but it sounds as tho Paris won you over. I look forward to the rest of your trip being blogged!
Lots of lovely pictures and text ..nice..
Quality post! I was in Paris a couple of weeks back. What I remember the most was the architecture. There are so many well preserved huge buildings. It's so unique. I was quite surprised by how many people do know English.
I'm also going to Italy, I fly to Rome this Thursday. Have a nice trip :)
Oh nice, we are in Rome right now. Can't say I am all that impressed. Vatican was kind of boring, though I did really like the Colesseum and all the old ruins between it and the plaza, very cool!
I heard a lot of good things about Rome and that it's really fun. A friend was there a couple of weeks back. I'm staying at the Alessandro hostel. They have a nice bar and do lots of events. How long do you recommend for sightseeing?
Mmmm, depends on how much you wanna see. A couple days was enough for us...
I've only spent a few days in Paris, and unfortunately I didn't fall in love. However, your enthusiasm is so infectious that it makes me want to go back! (Especially now that I travel with a camera - your shots prove that Paris is super photogenic!)
I feel it's one of those places that probably takes at least a couple weeks to sink into to find the appreciation... first few days, I wasn't all that enthused - though jet lag did play a part. Once adjusted, relaxed, and started venturing out a bit further to see some different parts from a better inner space, the enjoyment grew. ALOT to see, do, and taste - probably takes more than a few days to get in enough to shift perspectives and find the appreciation... :-)
I wish i could go there in the future. Paris is one of my bucket list. Great!
Paris truly is the most romantic place on Earth! Btw, great post. Also don't miss out on 'The catacombs of Paris' on your return trip to Paris :) It is a must visit place.
Cool, thanks for the suggestion.
Great post and I love the pics! I've been to Paris several times as it's only a hop skip and a jump away from England. I think Paris is awesome but wasn't too keen on the food...apart from the bread and cheese! I visited Venice with my family last year so will be interested to know how you found it.
Food anywhere can be kinda hit and miss, though - sometimes takes some time to stumble across the good spots that make the strong positive impression.
Venice... it was nice, though a bit boring too. Interesting place for sure, on the water. Though didn't make that strong an impression that I'd be too keen to go back...
Yeah recommendations from local people are god when finding somewhere nice to eat.
I've been twice to Venice and I don't think I'd go back again either. It's interesting but sooo expensive!
Romance travel...have a great activity! Good luck always!! From @zulfahmi2141 to friends
Great post. I spent a week in Paris with a mate of mine after college and we had a blast walking all over the place. It's a beautiful city and so great that people live in it vs many American cities where they are often places where people go to work and are dead at other times. Very walkable. And the people, if you show even a little effort to parle francaise, will warm up to you.
Great photos too - the street life, art and architecture there is great.
Paris is so beautiful and you captured it so well with your words and the photos that you took. A lot of my friends are saying that South of France is more enchanting than Paris. I wouldn't know for I haven't been there. Take us with you again if you do go to the South of France. Happy travels!
Holy wow. I adore everything about this. Your writing, your physical and inner journeys, the photos. This is all yes, yes, yes! I am so excited to read more.
Your feedback is appreciated. :-)
Consider visiting Monet's garden in Giverny if you feel like doing a day trip outside Paris. It looks beautiful!

An exciting photos @rok-sivante ! My greetings for you!
Great holiday and great travel..
amazing shots, love it!
Amazing!
It moved me truly, @rok-sivante, when you said that you think you fell in love with Paris!! Hope to see you & Nia again at the end of your trip 🤗 Please remind me of the book that I forgot to give to Nia last time! Buon soggiorno in Italia!!
Stellar shots! I think the Bugs Bunny street art looks like the work of Invader, who resides in Paris, just FYI. Here's a Wikipedia article about him: Invader, Paris Street Artist. One of my favorite modern artists. You're right about Paris being an art capital. If you're still there, I recommend visiting the Orsay Museum (Musee D'Orsay) too.
Ah cool. Saw LOTS of those types scattered around, wonder if they were ALL his, or others have copied his style too.
Going back for another week, so may check out the museum. Thanks for the tip...
Yeah, you're probably right about others copying his style. That particular style of artistry would be easy to copy, I imagine. Here in the states, Shepard Fairey has an entire team of street artists putting up posters together, so there's that possibility too: an art collective called Invader. BTW, I tagged you in a post: Top #11 List, because I dig what you're doing here on Steemit. It's my first curated list. High-five!
nice photos
i find travel to be one of the most enlightening experiences. never do you get such opportunities to add new perspectives to your portfolio. Travel is a life changing experience, and I'm happy you're able to do so. Have fun, @rok-sivante(:
wow how romantic you both are? love it... and love the beautiful arts work on statues... thanks for sharing..
I love Paris, it is such a beautiful city. Your photos gives a great impression of what Paris looks like. I do miss the Sacré-Cœur in your selection, always a great place to hang out in front at the hill with Montmartre next to it for a nice meal and drinks.
Great post! Lov it! Tomas.
Paris is great. Would love to visit.
Great pictures you have
You have a lovely wife
