The Sedlec Ossuary is a small Roman Catholic chapel located beneath the church. The ossuary is estimated to contain the skeletons of between 40,000 and 70,000 people, that have been artistically arranged, many of these people died during the 14th and 15th century due to the Black Death and Hussite/Bohemian Wars. The Ossuary has featured in many documentrys and movies.
