//The Plan//
On a Saturday evening, after a group of friends met we decided to travel somewhere nearby for a short one-day trip in our motorcycles. After hearing the place of choice from everyone in the group we decided not to fix a destination before we start and head forward to the unknown. Everyone liked the idea and we started our journey the next day which was a Sunday.
//Finally the destination got fixed//
After a few kilometers of riding with bohemian attitude we decided to take the first prominent left within one kilometer and opting we decided to ride 50 kilometers straight and then take another prominent left.
//Reaching the Destination//
We finally reached our destination KANMARI which is an extension of The Sunderbans. We reached there after 1 year of the terrible cyclone AILA. It brought sadness to our hearts when we saw the devastating effect of that storm that took place before 1 year and locals were still paying for it. They had no proper homes to stay, no proper food. They made shelters with plastics and papers for survival and getting food was a hard job for them. Even they could not afford proper clothes to fight the cold. Since no monetary aid from the government could reach them even after 1 year we decided to help the village in our best possible ways.
//The decision//
With saddened hearts we came home and planned a trip to the same place with some aid for the villagers. Since we never had done this before we went to an organisation who does this to get some ideas for execution of the plan. The head of the organisation suggested us to get the data of the total number number of villagers which will help us to procure right amount of aid for distribution among the villagers. We had to visit the village once again for the collection of data prior to providing the aid.
//The execution//
After we had the data about the number of villagers, it was easy for us proceed. We decided to provide some ration to those people and we approached every house in our locality to collect garments which they do not feel like wearable anymore. We collected a good amount of clothing and we contributed money to get ration for them. We informed the local police station before the D day to inform the nearest police station there to control any chaos.
And finally we came back home satisfied. Though it was not any major help, yet any kind of help to the people in need gives you immense satisfaction.
What you and your friends have done is amazing.
Not all people would offer to help the way you guys did.
I believe this is how life should be lived, with people have enough to go around share with the less fortunate.
You will be rewarded in many great different ways for what youve done.
And please keep up the good work
Thank you for those kind words. I wish to contribute in my best possible ways to bring smile to humanity. Let's make world an even better place
real naice thing to do..guys with good hearts #wutang 👐
Thank you! Anyone would have done the same what we did. They were in real need that time. See in one photo where we are wearing winter clothes but the little girls don't have one to wrap themselves :(
