Lisbon has a lot going on in the city. Public transportation in Lisbon is really well organised but you can even explore the city on foot. Day pass for €6.5 would allow unlimited travel over a 24-hour period on the entire transport network. If you will take more than five trips on the bus or metro on any given day, this is the best and easiest choice.

The Sanctuary of Christ the King is a Catholic monument and shrine dedicated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus Christ overlooking the city of Lisbon situated in Almada.

A Visit to the National Coach Museum
One of Lisbon's most visited sights, the Coaches Museum (Museu Nacional dos Coches) has the largest and most valuable collection of its type in the world. The Coach Museum of Lisbon museum is located within the Belem district of Lisbon and can be reached by tram.

Ceremonial vehicles
Its a rare example of the caresses modernise that appeared in Paris during that era. It was brought to Portugal in 1666 for the wedding of the queen to Afonso VI.
King Louis XIV of France gave it to his cousin Maria Francisca of Savoy. The door Panels feature the Portuguese royal coat of arms.
This belonged to the Portuguese Royal House, who gave it to the Patriarchate of Lisbon in the late 18th century. The door Panels feature the painted coat of arms of the Cardinal Patriarch D. Manuel Bento Rodrigues.
In the early 20th century this coach was used by foreign heads of the state when visiting Portugal. The rear wheels display the twelve signs of the Zodiac.
Triumphal vehicles
This took part in the procession of the embassy sent to Pope Clement XI in Rome by King Joao V, in 1716. The decorative elements allude to the connection between the Atlantic Ocean and the Indian Ocean, symbolising The crossing of the Cape of Good Hope.
Town vehicle, France
Build by Binder, Paris. Commissioned by the Portuguese Royal House. From 1910 it was used by the President of the Republic. It has an armillary sphere, the symbol of the Portuguese Republic, painted on the doors.
Travelling vehicle, Belgium
Built by Jones Freres, Brussels. It has compartments for pass ngers and mail. Was used on the Lisbon - Porto route and took 34 hours, with stops at 23 stations for passengers to rest and to change the horses. This service came to an end once the railway arrived.
