Vietnam World Heritage Sites - Hue Complex of Monuments

Hi everyone, today I still write about Vietnam's tourist destinations, but this place more special a little bit. I'll write about Vietnam world heritage sites. Vietnam have total 7 World Heritage Sites recognized by UNESCO and the first Vietnam heritage site are listed in 1993, I'll introduce according recognized year. In this post, I talk about Hue Complex of Monuments.

Hue Complex of Monuments - UNESCO World Heritage Site listed in 1993
The Complex of Hue Monuments is located in and around Hue City in Thua Thien-Hue Province. Hue, located on the bank of the Huong River, was founded as the Vietnam capital city by Gia Long in 1802 under the Nguyen dynistry. The Nguyen dynistry also the last royal dynasty of Vietnamese history drag 143 years, from 1802 to 1945.
Hue capital was built according to the architecture of the West collaboration with the architecture of the East in an ingenious way, total area rise to 520 ha.

Hue capital was built according to the architecture of the West collaboration with the architecture of the East in an ingenious way. Hue was the administrative centre of southern Viet Nam during the 17th and 18th centuries CE, Hue's structure not only administrative and military functions of the Empire, but also the Imperial Residence, the Hoang Thanh (Imperial City), the Tu Cam Thanh (Forbidden Purple City) and related royal palaces.

Beside it, when build the Complex of Hue Monuments, The Nguyen dynistry were put feng shui very seriosly, the direction of the Complex of Hue Monuments structures is southward , this meaning "King turn back to the south to govern his country".
The position of Hue capital are placed with in the natunal setting of the site and aligned cosmologically with the Five Cardinal Points (centre, west, east, north, south), the Five Elements (earth, metal, wood, water, fire), and the Five Colours (yellow, white, blue, black, red).

Hue is also famous for the royal tombs of the Nguyen Kings. Have total 7 tombs, each tomb has its own nuance, but it is all a feat of human creativity combined with beautiful natural scenery of Hue.
Hue Complex of Monuments with Huong River, Ngu mountain and many castle, temples and pagodas have had hundreds of years of history always is the heritage of the world.
