RE: hong kong travel diary

I recognize that place in the first picture. Yuen Kee noodles joint in Tsim Sha Tsui.

It seems to me you had a wonderful time in Hong Kong. But Hong Kong as a destination is only good for a short stopover.

Steep retail prices, subpar services and most shops coming out of the same mould selling same or exact goods on the same street make Hong Kong a rather boring or unfavourable place to stay for a long time.

Thanks for telling me what restaurant it was. Well, I would still love to come back there & explore the parks, eat streetfood and actually go to Ocean Park. :)

I sometimes go there for a bowl of quick noodles so I recongise the setting.

The peak is phenomenal and has a view over the harbour to offer.

Spicy fishballs on a skewer, siu mais on a skewer, beef brisket stew, and deepfried egg plants, tofus, green peppers and pig intestines, all these are typical street foods you find easily find over the street in MongKok, Tsim Sha Tsui or Causeway Bay.

After all, enjoy your next trip to HK.
