Today I will share an incident with you two days ago. A cousin of mine and sister's groom from Rajasthan were supposed to arrive around 8:30 that night. I and my grandfather accordingly left for Sealdah from our nearest railway station around 8 pm to receive them. When we spoke to them on the phone, they said that the train was running a little late, which meant that it might take them around 9:30. Since we left at 8 o'clock it took us about 45 minutes to reach Sealdah station from here. Anyway, our Thursday hangout started as we boarded the train and arrived at Dumdum station.
We join hangouts while on train and listen very attentively to admin, moderator. We are all saddened by what happened in our community a few days ago. I listened to everyone's words about it and tried to understand everyone's feelings. After 45 minutes when we reached Sealdah station I called my sister to find out where they were. They then said that they are growing. It takes about three hours to reach Sealda from Burdwan. But they said that since the train was running a little late earlier, now they will cover some time and the train will enter Sealdah as soon as possible. I was just thinking that I will meet my sister after three years and we were not passing the time and I was wondering when they will come. But their train was running late and we could not hear any positive signal from them. Time was passing as we sat at the station and listened to the hangout.
After some time we take a long walk above the station, trying to notice the people around. There was a huge crowd at the station that night. Sometimes we go for a walk outside Sealdah station. Even at this night the city of Calcutta seemed like the day with the crowd of people and the busyness of activities. Anyway we wandered around and came back to the station after about ten o'clock and sat for some time and called the sisters and they said it would take about an hour for them to arrive. I was wondering how to pass this one hour. This time we pass the time from this side of the platform to that side. They finally reached Sealdah station a little after 11 pm.
After seeing my sister after such a long time, I can't express my happiness in words. I was so busy talking to my sister that time I couldn't think of photography with my phone but my grandfather takes some photography of everyone. Then at Sealdah station we had to wait for a long time to return home as the next train back home was at 11:50. At that time we sat at the station and talked a lot. Sisters came from far away and they were very hungry so we didn't even eat outside. Then when it was time for our train, we boarded the train and came home around one in the morning.
