Dear Steemians,
Arriving in Meggen (CH) at the beautiful Lake Lucerne where we will spend this week before going on Friday to Prad in South Tyrol. These posts will follow.
As you can see, we have got a great private RV Parking near my parents-in-laws house.
The warm days at the beginning of the week we mostly spent in the "Badi", as the Swiss call an outdoor swimming pool. The Meggen Badi is small but very cozy and nicely laid out.

Ankunft in Meggen (CH) am wunderschönen Vierwaldstättersee, wo wir diese Woche verbringen werden, bevor wir am Freitag nach Prad in Südtirol fahren. Diese Beiträge folgen.
Wie ihrsehen könnt, haben wir einen großen privaten Wohnmobil-Parkplatz am Haus meiner Schwiegereltern.
Die warmen Tage anfangs der Woche verbrachten wir größtenteils in der "Badi", wie die Schweizer ein Freibad nennen. Die Meggener Badi ist zwar klein aber sehr gemütlich und nett angelegt.

Rainy days are good for vacationers - gives everyone time to relax, gather together indoors, plan the next adventure, and maybe even play some board games!
Can be expensive also! I bought me a GoPro! We'll see if I will manage to get something worth to be posted on tape. 😃

Ja, das ist echt schön hier! Jetzt hoffen wir, dass wir im Vinschgau, Südtirol auch noch schönes Wetter haben. Hier ist es momentan ein bisschen trübe! Zum Baden im See morgens mit Mia reicht es aber immer! 😃

I love the water and it looks a little small, but, I have no doubt that it serves the purpose nicely!

Lake Lucerne is not to big, but neither small. It has many arms and so sometimes looks not so big, necause you can only see a small part at the time.

I know the lake is actually quite large, but, they cordoned off a small part for you. Still, you could go to another place if wanted! Look enviously awesome! :)
So envy you your RV, in-laws and Luzerne! Visited there and other places several times when I was stationed an hour north of Basel at Lahr/Schwarzwald in 1980s. Would like to get back. Following.

Have driven through several times but sadly never stayed, always en route to somewhere else! But a true story: first time we were going to see friends in Mons, and we stopped for a rest in Luxembourg. My son, about 3 years old at the time, maybe turning 4, had a problem pronouncing some letters - he asked where we were, and I told him. His reply, after many hours in the car: 'Yuxembourg is a yong youg way from Yahr!'. He is much more articulate now.

Danke schön! Ja im Norden des Landes hatten wir schon etwas Schnee, hier an der Mosel ist es zurzeit eher nebelig.
