Entry no. 3: Mutant seagulls

in #travel7 years ago (edited)

Strolling aimlessly on the streets of The Hague, I was taken aback by these giant birds, big as a building.
I had to snap a photo.

Ok, I will not keep you in suspense anymore :)

This photo was taken in Madurodam Park, a miniature city in The Hague.
Although the Netherlands is a tiny country, it's full of wonder and hidden gems. You cannot experience everything in one trip.

The places and buildings exhibited here are from all around the country, showcasing the dutch culture, tradition and technologies developed.
It was really cool to see places that I visited in real life on a 1:25 scale.

Just to give you an idea about the place, here are some photos.
The park has some nice suprises, so I don't want to give too many spoilers.

Oh, don't forget to go to the beach if you visit The Hague in the summer. It is beautiful and really wide! Plenty of space to walk along the shore or set your towel down and bathe in the sun.
