Most of visitors never miss this island for vacation. This island has awesome spots likesnorkeling, diving, kayaking, and camping ground which can reduce your fatigue. Then its beauty of underwater can attract divers. We may rent a speed boat from Teupin Layeu Beach, Iboih to reach in this Island. Moreover, there are plenty of restaurants and homestays in this island. Yet, the distance between Rubiah Island and Sabang city is about 21 kilometres.
- Klah Island
Klah Island is not well known as Rubiah Island, but the panorama of this island will always amaze every tourist who visits to Sabang, especially those who want to go towards Iboih destination. Thus, the island will be visible from the mainland especially from the rujak shop. Indeed, the activities of tourism are not much in this island which are only for fishing and diving. Yet, it has a possible potential to be developed as an alternative tourism attraction in Sabang because it has calm water which is located in the bay, and there is beautiful ecosystem underwater. The last, the island is accessible from Sabang city or Iboih because the distance is about 3.5 km from Sabang City.
- Rondo Island
Rondo is the island that became the border of the west side Indonesia. This island has 42 hectares area which is inhabited by border troops. There are no tourism activities on the island which is the part of Indian Ocean. Yet, there are some fishing spots around the Rondo Island that has quite potential to be developed better. So, during this time, Rondo known as one of the best fishing spots in Aceh. Finally, the distance of this Island is about 15 nautical miles from Sabang City.
- Teupin Layeue Beach
Teupin Layeue Beach is the queen of marine tourism in Sabang. It is located in Iboih. Most tourists always spare their time to visit Iboih, so that this beach is known as Iboih Beach. Besides, tourists who want to spend their time at tourism destinations in the west of Sabang usually starts from Teupin Layeue Beach. Then all tourism facilities are available here, such as lodgings, restaurants, souvenirs, tour operators, and other daily necessities. From Teupin Layeue, you can enjoy the beautiful sunset and sparkling lights of Kota Sabang at night. The distance of this beach is about 20 km from Sabang City.
- Gapang Beach
Gapang Beach has beautiful natural scenery with a calm natural atmosphere. This beach spoils tourists with gentle white sand and the surface of the beach is suitable for swimming. Moreover, you can also find out snorkeling and diving spots that not far from the beach. The tourism facilities such as lodging and restaurants are also available, but not as much as in Iboih. This beach is about 17 km from Sabang City.
