Menorca will always have a very special place in my 💙. point of the island is good for enjoying a sunset, but doing it in the cova d'en Xoroi gives it a more romantic touch ( there is live music 😍🎶). The north of the island has a wilder landscape and the south is made up of small coves with a lot of charm. Mahon is the capital, in my opinion, is much more complete and beautiful Ciudadela☺️.

The Cova d'en Xoroi is a natural cave located on the island of Minorca, in the urbanization of Cala en Porter (Alayor). It is a very visited place, since during the day it has been fitted out as a bar and at night as a discotheque. It is a magical place to enjoy the sunset and on very clear days you can see the island of Mallorca on the horizon. A must if you travel to Menorca 🙂.

We have made it to Sunday and I definitely felt my mood gently lift as the week went on, I hope you did too. I have been looking at photos of sunshine and beaches whenever I have felt a bit gloomy (or cold) - it’s been freezing this week hasn’t it!

This is one of my all time favourite beaches - Cala Macarelleta in Menorca. I have been lucky enough to travel far and wide in the past and I can honestly say I have never seen beaches more beautiful and unspoilt than in Menorca and Formentera. Crazy I know but they are even more beautiful than some of the best I’ve seen in Asia! I can’t wait to be there again this summer and for Lily to experience them properly for the first time (she was so little last time we were there in 2019).

I only thank God for allowing me to celebrate another year of life alongside the people I love. To thank God for the opportunity to be in this paradise. Thank you.
