Constance Ephelia resort in Seychelles has been on my wish list for as long as I have been following the Constance hotels instagram account. That is quite a bit of time spent lusting after the clear water and white sand beaches 🙂 In October we got to spend to glorious nights there and now I just want to go back, pretty sure you can relate right?!
Constance Ephelia Resort
If you are looking for a resort that has it all then Ephelia is for you. It’s in the South of Mahe so you don’t have to go off the main island and it feels like your own little slice of paradise. When you arrive and you see the calm turqoiuse water, the lush green mountains
What I loved about the resort is that it was big enough to not feel full even when it was almost at capacity. It boasts two beaches that are both lovely but very different. I couldn’t decide which one I liked more so we spent quite a bit of time on both which makes it seem like you are staying at two different resorts.
It also overlooks a marine national park and you can often spot sting rays gliding in the water close to shore. We actually had one come right by us during sunset and I must admit it was pretty amazing! Both beaches have instagram worthy swings which I always appreciate ( I feel all island resorts need those haha! ) as well as water sports if you are feeling active.
Restaurants
The restaurant options at Ephelia were extremely tempting and I wish we had spent more evening there so I could have tried out all the retaurants. We ended up eating at Adam & Eve and Cyann and they were both amazing. Adam & Eve is a relaxed vibe where you can sit outside and enjoy Asian cuisine. We had some beer and some pretty incredible noodles and fried rice. Thank goodness it was a bit of a distance from our room, we skipped the buggy and walked along the ocean! I would definitely recommend eating there!
The next evening we dressed up for the fine dining restaurant Cyann. All the meals were incredible and the staff were so friendly. This is the type of place you go to, to celebrate something. If being on a beautiful island isn’t enough for celebration I am sure you can think of something else
Activities
The one thing you wont be at Constance Ephelia is bored. You can do the obvious which is lie around in the pool and on the beaches all day long. Don’t get me wrong, this is definitely great option. If you wanted more though they definitely have that!
We did zip lining which is one of the paid activities they offer at the resort. If you are a beginner or an adrenaline junky I promise you that you will have fun doing this. I have been on loads of zip lines but the staff and the canopy of greenery made this really fun.
You can also ride around the resort on bicycles or visit the giant tortoises in the pen. If you feel like some ultimate relaxation visiting their spa is a must. Its incredibly beautiful and the biggest spa in the indian ocean!
