Photo of the Slovenian town of Kanal. It is located at the South West of Slovenia in the shores of the river Soča (Isonzo in Italian). The name of the town is due to the shape of the valley where it is located. The bridge in the photo was built after the first world war, however there has been a bridge in here since the time of the Romans.
