Artistic Culinary Experience - Ili Likha Artists Village

Baguio is a well-known for being the summer capital of the Philippines. It is a place for the locals to enjoy when the sun and the heat gets overbearing. The place is around 1500 meters in height which makes it possible for pine trees, strawberry and other vegetation to strive in the cold environment.

Baguio has a lot to offer from culture, culinary cuisines, observatories, museums and even parks. However, this post will focus on one place that I enjoyed a lot. Just perpendicular to the famous Session Road is a little place called Ili-Likha Artist Village. It is actually easy to miss as you wouldn't expect something so grand to be in that road.

I was honestly amazed the moment I got inside. It definitely was a work of art.

There were the most amazing paintings, artworks, sculptures and handicrafts that I have seen. What amazed me was the materials they used for their artworks - from fallen tree trunks, bottle caps, seashells, buttons and whatever junk scrap you could think of. The place made me felt so relaxed and at peace. I would have stayed there for hours just admiring the beauty of the place. Everywhere you look, there is something unique and eye catching, it a was a feast for the eyes.

The food was also extraordinary, you could feel the freshness of the ingredients and how authentic they were. They weren't even pricey at all!
