i had a traumatic yet wonderful time there, collecting stories and music from the kids that were involved in the conflict.. we danced hard, we set up a performance in the main square with "Dodgy" and "the Maryjanes" brian eno was there to open the music centre and i was the first session to record there... i cried at the destruction and was uplifted by the strength of the people.. loved it :)

Yes ... I know everything and fully understand what you're talking about ... it's an experience that is never forgotten ... I guess you met a lot of hospitable people there :)

I met so many young men who begged me to take them away from there, they knew it was not possible but they wanted me to feel some of their horror...
The feeling they left me with has empowered me to work with charity..
Everyone I met was so hospitable, wonderful memories .. ahhh thanks for reminding me :)

Every honor to you, it was a very difficult job, but certainly an incredible experience.
