My trip to Phuket 2016 and usefull information for you =)

Dear friends! In the previous post I wrote I like to travel. So, I'd like to tell you about my trip to Phuket, Thailand. I and my boyfriend recently quit our job together and decided to prescind from everything and relax. This was our first visit to the Asian country, that's why we bought 4 excursions and the fifth was free.

Excursions:

The first one was free one.  We knew if something is free then they would try to sell something to us =) But I’m too curious to stand for it and to get the information I need =)  During the day we visited some factories: Latex, Snake, Crocodile and Jewelry. Everywhere we heard that we should buy their product right now otherwise you will never get it and never be happy))) The prices weren’t low… though everything is local))) Anyway it was useful for me and I recommend people to visit this free excursion because you see Snake and Crocodile Show for free =) As it was my first time of this kind of show I was very excited =)

The second excursion was called Adventure. It's a one-day trip to Phang Nga region by bus and the first stop was at the Wat Chalong temple.

Then we were riding an elephant and during the trip we could feed him with bananas. After we were seen monkey and elephant shows. I don't know why but I feel poor for them, I don't think they like to do it. In the end I took a picture with a small elephant and it was the cutest moment in the trip! He caressed my hair and then kissed my cheek with his trunk))) it was So sweet and softly! I don't know how to describe it to you))) just look at my face))

Next station was mountain called Elephant. There we had 1-hour excursion to the Elephant’s stomach Cave (Phung Chang Cave). This was a rather strange part of excursion…first you get in the boat then in the raft… all this time some teenagers pull the boat and the raft by themselves…then you walk knee-deep in water and enjoy the cave atmosphere =) and back in the same way. Everything was nice, but the raft had holes and my shorts got wet and I didn’t know what to do with my legs=) So, I have controversial feelings that why I still don’t know if I liked this kind of adventure or not=)

The last stop was at the Buddha Cave temple. You can see big Buddha in a cave and there are a lot of monkeys everywhere! They are really very nice, but very arrogant…

The third excursion was to Siam Niramit Show. It’s an introduction to Thailand’s history and culture by many theatricals. A lot of people in beautiful costumes were acting, dancing and even flying! Scenery was amazing! And there was a river on the stage! Just try to imaging… you’re watching the young man getting up and then it turned out that it’s water close to him and he jump into the water! And then you see boats with people on the stage! Nobody expected it! So, there were many surprises, I really liked the show, but it wasn’t allowed to take a picture. I event couldn’t see the time on my phone…That’s why here is a picture from http://www.siamniramit.com/ .

And just for information – dinner is included in the price, but you should have it before the show begins. You have approx. 2 hours for dinner, laser show, and to see the park surround. Park is very nice and looks like traditional Thai village.

The 4th excursion was to Phi Phi islands. And it was OH MY GOD!!! =))) As I’m northern person it was one of the best things I’ve ever seen! Beautiful islands, wonderful colors and white sand! We spent the whole day travelling by motorboat all over Phi Phi islands! First we were shown a beautiful Maya Bay beach… yes, there are a lot of people! It’s so hard to enjoy it’s beauty, but we found a nice place without people and I was made a propose here… I didn’t expect it and it’s was one of the best moments of my life!

Then we were snorkeling! And it was also my first time! To tell the truth I can swim, but I’m afraid of water… a little, so, I tried on lifejacket and was snorkeling! It was SO cool!!! I was like a small child! I felt like I’m a space man on some other planet =) Maybe it sounds silly but this is really what I felt.

So, we spent the day snorkeling, having dinner and watching something. It was one of the best excursions! I felt So happy! I wish everybody to have these feelings!

The fifth excursion we decided not to go as we heard that it’s not interesting…

To make a conclusion I’d like to tell that our tour operator could sell us only a package of excursions. We can’t choose only one of them for example. Anyway we decided not to risk. But there were people who bought the same excursions on the street and they got the same service… So, don’t be afraid to buy excursions on the street!

Mango I LOVe you!!!!

Hotel

We stayed at Rattana Beach Hotel. It’s a 3 stars hotel. Very nice and close to the beach. Wifi works perfect. I could call my mom every day by whatsup. The only one problem was water. You could get in the hotel in the evening and find no water… no hot and no cold… you can’t have a shower after the sea… this is what I don’t like… And the bathroom door was with holes… so, you hear everything =) be careful =)

Restaurants

As usual if you want to have not expensive dinner you should go further form the sea. And you will get the same food but per lower price.

My dear friends! It was a wonderful trip! I wish everybody to have these feelings! I will never forget the moments I had, places I’ve visited, wonderful sunsets and the Sea! If you have any questions, you can contact me. I’ll do my best to help you =)

How was the fresh mango? Looks yummy!

It was one of the most delicious things! :)

I think they're pretty delicious in the USA so I can only imagine when they're fresh!

your trip sounds amazing,, maybe I go next year to Phuket :D

Nice @natalymaty
Shot you an Upvote :)

hi! I am really interested to snorkel and island hopping at phuket!
how much do you spent on snorkeling? Is the snorkeling at phi phi island fun? like there's a lot of fishes, corals, caves and scenery to see?
By the way you should try renting an ATV and drive around in phuket!

We were snorkeling 2 times per 1,30 hour during the day. I was impressed as it was my first time. People who had already been in Egypt weren't so happy like me :) there were only small yellow fish , feels like you're swimming in the fishing soup :) I didn't see bright corals or caves. But we were snorkeling only around Phi Phi islands. May be you'll find something around Phuket :) Snorkeling was included in the price of the excursion to Phi Phi. we didn't rent an ATV.

Phuket's great advantage is that there's always something to do on and off the island, whether it's raining or shining. Vote now!

I have a lot of friends have been to Phuket and I'm still hoping one day to go. Thanks for sharing the pics and experiences
