Hello Steemit friends, I am going to share you a destination nearby Kathmandu, Nepal. I personally found it exciting to visit. You can visit it too if you ever come for a trip to Kathmandu, Nepal. Its really an exciting place to treak.

Muhan Pokhari lies on the way to Nagarkot at Telkot, Manjushree, 15 kilometer from Koteshwor, Kathmandu. Travelling with public bus and own vehicle both are convenient.

In winter, it is completely dry, even now (June) there isn’t much water. We were disappointed when we got there as we had expected this:

It was the same when got there except no water. The Pokhari(Pond) was nearly dry and no water falling.

But there is a Ganesh temple as you go. The picture of Lord Ganesh (Hindu deity) is carved on the stone.

We nearly ended our visit as there wasn't anything what we came for. But than we decided to climb uphill to see where the path leads and we stumbled upon a great place.

The road is a bit slippery as and straight up. But the view is great with lots of pine trees. The heat and the steep we climbed made us thirsty. Luckly we found water.

Than as we walk further, there is a path that goes through the forest downhill. It leads us towards the river which is called Shivakhola.

As we approached there, we found plenty of people. Some little guys were playing n swimming in the river. One sweet boy even posed for a picture which I am glad to take.

As we climbed the stones we found awesome and incomparable place. There lies a marvelous waterfall in the heart of the jungle .

Taking a shower on the hot day of June in the cool waterfall makes us forget all the struggle we did to get there.

Then while returning the same path you can see pine forest. Climbing uphill we can see a beautiful view. The stone paved way and the dry pine needles needles makes it relaxing to walk.

Though the path is a bit slippery due to the fallen pine needles, the view on the top makes it worth walking. Than we reach Jungle and waterfall viewpoint. The view is breathtaking.

You can see the path leading to water fall as you look below this point.

Very beautiful! I love the pictures. Those last 3 remind me somewhat of spring in my local mountains here in Utah. Amazing how much of the world can look the same.

I must visit Nepal soon!
