My first 3D printed mobile trailer is nearly done. By the time I get home again after this appointment it should be ready to assemble. I scaled it down, the larger print would take all day.
I found this model the other day and decided to give it a shot. Previously I selected the "freedom trailer" model, for animation. When I imported it into Unreal it actually split the model into its components.
I had to reassemble them, which was done easily in a blueprint since each piece was in the proper location.
With this process however each piece must be centered and level on the printing bed. This isn't the perfect model, but it is easily fabricated.
If I want to print the Fleetwood Tioga model, I will need to manually export each object, and then slice it into smaller parts to fit in my printer.
It turned out, but is too small. 🔥
