Banff National Park is an incredibly majestic national park in Canada. The park is conveniently placed right on the Alberta-British Columbia border in the Rocky Mountains. The site is very accessible and usually takes around 2 hours drive from Calgary. The national park offers a broad spectrum of unique wilderness, magnificent natural views (tall snow-capped mountains and snowed dense forests), high number of native wildlife, a great number of hiking and biking trails, impressive lakes and mountain peak views. The daily atmosphere is quite relaxing and positive. This national park is stunning and the biggest natural treasure of Canada.

The town of Banff

First and Foremost, it is great experience to explore the Charming Streets and Beautiful Environment in the small Town of Banff. The small town of Banff offers historic buildings, unique local souvenir shops, a wide selection of restaurants, and beautiful scenery surrounding the town.

The settlement is a pleasant, unique and friendly town with tall and beautiful mountain peaks surrounding it on all sides which makes to look like a fortified area.

Additionally, the town represents the tourist hub in Banff National Park and it is where most of the visitors opt to stay. Banff offers a impressive natural beauty and views. One specific place which represents a majestic landscape is the bridge on the Bow River on the town’s entrance.

The main street is always lively and active. Moreover, the downtown area is always full of people. It is a pedestrian-friendly town with lots of fantastic restaurant options, a variety of accommodations, clothing boutiques, uniquely local souvenir shops, small grocery stores, gas stations, and other interesting attractions and sights to see. Much of the buildings in town have a rustic yet chic appearance and the streets are very pretty and beautiful to wander and explore.

Lake Louise

Lake Louise is probably the most popular scenery to see in Banff National Park and extremely beautiful. This unique glacier lake is surrounded by high elevation mountains and is located just a 20-minute drive north of the town of Banff. Although there is an increased popularity, Lake Louise is represent one of the most perfect and spectacular landscapes that every traveler must-see in Banff. The natural uniqueness and views of the site are unbelievable. There are a variety of activities that can be done on the lake. You can canoe on the lake or go for a hike along one of the trails that begin at the shoreline. However, it is important to emphasize that the hiking trails are long, exhausting and almost with no ending into the mountains. However, the landscape views from above are simply magnificent. Also right next to the lake is the Historic Fairmont Hotel where you can stay and enjoy the views from your bed.
