A few photos popped up on my phone today reminding me that two years ago @donvee and I were at the VanDusen Botanical Gardens in Vancouver, British Columbia. We had driven across the United States, stopped in Minneapolis for a quick visit with @vermillionfox and @kommienezuspadt, driven through the Badlands, spent two days in Yellowstone, then finally arrived in Vancouver.
When I heard that this place had a hedge maze, I immediately added it to my itinerary. The grounds were gorgeous and we could have spent an entire day there. Here are some of the highlights from my visit.
Poppies are one of my favorite flowers.
The entrance to the hedge maze.
I believe these are alliums.
They had a small area with a bunch of these insect houses. I want to make something similar for my garden.
Thanks for checking out my post! I'll post more about Vancouver, which is one of my favorite cities I've visited, in the next few days.
Hedge maze!!!! Well now it’s on my list too. We are in Seattle so go to Vancouver like once a year and I have NEVER BEEN here. My husband and I enjoy a good hedge maze race. 😄 Thanks for sharing this. 💕
