A fishing trip between three buddies to Namibia turned out to be an adventure of a lifetime.
The journey took us straight through the Namib Desert to Torra Bay on the Skeleton Coast.
First sleep over was at small game lodge just outside Windhoek International Airport.
Cutest little bugger keeping an eye on quests.
The next day we were off to Mopane Lodge in Damareland, our final pit stop before we he headed through the Namib desert.
Upon arrivel we headed straight for the mountain making the best of the time we had available.
Our house quest for the evening...a bit shaky but it's understandable :)
At 3AM we were off again heading for Torra Bay. Putin pedal to the metal we arrived just in time for the opening of the 2 month fishing period at this location. After setting up camp we had ten days of fisherman's paradise to ourselfs. Although the fishing was good, it's the journey we will always remember.
I've learned a valuable lesson on this trip...take more photo's!! :)
Some pics by professionals showing the beauty of the worlds oldest desert. The Namib

Great post Mono!! What a beautiful country you visited.

I'm afraid of Scorpions(;
Same here :) we used uv light to make them glow like that. That night alone we found 2 in the house and a few just outside our sleeping quarters.
That scorpion is off the hook!!
Cg
These are the ones that pack a good sting...since they have small pincers they are more venomous.
