When in Rome - 2nd favorite city I've visited

When I take pictures I try to get a view that you would not see on a postcard. Different angles and lighting. Otherwise, I might as well take photos of postcards and claim they are mine.

Also, whenever I see a stoplight mixed with ancient history I have to take a picture.

My favorite part if Rome was not the major landmarks, it was the alleyways with restaurants and churches and incredible architecture.

One day I took off walking in the morning frim downtown. I wslked so far I thought I would just walk to the Vagican. I made it very close, but the route I took trapped me and I was not able to figure out a path. I did get some photos from a cemetary up the hillside.

So many incredible pictures to show, but best you make the trip yourself. I am not into tourist attractions and not a walker, but Im estimating I walked twenty miles a day for three days. Stopping for wine, cigar, pizza, wine, etc.. Amazing.

I've not been to Rome yet but it's on my go-to list. I post a lot on food and sometimes on travels, but they're mainly food. Hahaha

sounds good to me, I have followed you. Look forward to info on travels and food. Hopefully you will include Thai food at least once.

Thanks! I did feature Thai food previously. Check my old blog posts. I've followed you back!

ok. I loved from California to Thailand so I have Thai food all the time when I'm not travelling. Just looking at pictures of thai food makes me hungry. I'm about to eat a late lunch right now... of thai food!

Its on list of my places to visit

If anyone travels and posts then let me know and I will follow you.

Great post about that wonderful city! It reminds me, that I should visit it again some day!

I hope to go back now that I know what it's like. I was alone and I didn't know anything about how to get around. I'd like do to five days there next time.

I think five days is indeed what you need to discover it! In my case it were three days, but that was way to short!

romantic

Definitely was, but I was traveling alone on business and still loved it.

I would love to go to Rome. It looks beautiful I love the small alley ways you always find the nicest cafes and restaurants tucked away here!! Thanks for sharing I also post Travel stories if you would like to check them out. Upvoted and Followed you look forward to more of your posts in the Future :)

I followed and upvoted you as well. Thanks/

amazing photos .

I went to Tuscany last September and totally fell in love with Italy. And that's just a fraction of the country! Rome is on a next trip, that's for sure...
I got lost so many times in Sienna and Firenze - the best shots come from those situations, don't you agree?
