Now that I feel back in flow after an action packed weekend, there are things to share.
It’s been years since I have been to Las Vegas. ...about 15 years. I use to go 2 to 3 times a years for a while before that. It’s interesting to look at it with new eyes.
Brian and I decided to attend a conference in Vegas. So this trip scratched the itch of wondering what’s new in Sin City.
We didn’t think about flying out of the Peninsula til the morning of the trip but it may have been bettering on our bodies. Vegas is 8hrs each way😜 We travel well together and made the best of it.
As some of you know I have been studying investing and trading. TD Ameritrade had a training conference this past weekend in Las Vegas and my sweetie and I thought it was the perfect time to get away and visit Vegas for the first time together.
I’m always excited to learn and when I can travel too (2 of my top 5 loves in life) it’s a bonus for me. While I’m still spending at least six months a year in the States I plan to visit all the places I want to see here.
Vegas left me feeling a little overwhelmed and extra stimulated from being out of that element for over 15 years. I can happily say I don’t necessarily miss coming here a couple times a year like I use to.
We stayed at the MGM grand and I just recently found out that they own at least 18 resorts on the Las Vegas strip.
I feel like their standards have lowered since the last time I stayed there. I did get to see Aria and took the Aria express. But after what seemed like endless hours of walking, we were done.
I would not recommend staying at the MGM Grand for what they charge. When we checked in the agent at the desk said that I think their bases 250 a night which means after taxes and resort fees you’re gonna be paying around. 350 a night.
I will do a week wrap up here on the Peninsula as I get ready to leave the States again with all new adventures.
Hugs🤗✨
