There are so many places in the world to discover. Since I was a child I knew that I would be a traveler for most of my life. I knew very early that I would not spend most of my life where I was born or particularly in my country of origin. I’ve always wanted to see the world. This is one of the reasons I went into the Navy. Just as some know they will call their birth place home for most of their life, others like me know the world will be there home.
As I travel, I realize the many possibilities that can be created. There are so many roads to take and experiences to have. My world opens up more and more and my choices become limitless. The more open I become to other cultures and change the more freedom I have. This is has been my truth. Though sometimes I can feel lonely learning a new culture or out of my element roaming a new city, that’s part of the journey. Through uncomfortable situations growth awaits. I am a child of this planet here to explore.
