In recent years, during the massive migration of Venezuelans to other countries in South America I have noticed the large number of comments about different working areas. It is very sad to realize how many people with a remarkable career, have migrated to another country to do 'whatever it takes' to survive, while building a new life from the rubble. Many people have come to these destinations with the aim of finding any source of work that can get them out of trouble in economic matters. This, to be able to pay monthly expenses, save a little and at the end of the month, send some money to their relatives in the country of origin.

Lawyers, architects, engineers, journalists and doctors, come to some of these host countries to wash dishes, clean houses, sell on the streets and work in restaurants, a picture that is noted among the many migrant professionals abroad. Most of these people say they are satisfied, conscious, grateful and willing to go through these situations to be able to get ahead after having built a life of success in their country of origin. These same people are often criticizing several colleagues, who, instead of ANY source of income, are determined to find sources of employment that keep them comfortable and distracted. Many of them claim that after receiving a university degree they would not throw it aside to do a job that does not correspond to them, because it does not comply with the rules of their status.

Although it is difficult to find any job for a foreigner, and more when they are undocumented, as in many of these cases. It must be extremely complicated to find a job offering that that can exceed the expectations of an individual. Many times, ending in this way, disappointed, with a return ticket and with a failure spirit, which In many of these cases, it is not an option. They continue to aspire for such desired position, ending up to get it after weeks or even months of perseverance.
Reading these stories of people fighting to survive in other countries, I observed that many of them who searched these privileged positions, usually achieved success. While other people after months of working in cafes or restaurants, write offensive comments on social networks because they do not agree with the method used by those who do not look for ‘ANY’ position.
It is true that in most cases people have no choice and it is very important to start generating income to cover basic services, but also there should not be the option of criticism, talking about this minority group of professionals. Those who do not decide to settle for the famous 'whatever' when delivering CV’s. As many of us struggle to get money and at the end of the month, being exhausted, we can afford our daily lives, many others after going through years of study, sleepless nights, exhaustive practices, internships and years of experience that they decide not to throw away not even for a few months since they recognize the real value of all that effort made back in their countries.
Cleaning blood in a butcher shop, cleaning dirty toilets, helping arrogant chefs who instead of words of encouragement were just yelled words at me for not doing the job as they wanted it to be done. These were several of the activities I performed to maintain myself abroad. Activities that I do not regret doing, because until now I have become strong and capable of performing any task to achieve my life goals. Now I do not struggle to get ahead. Have taken my time to get into a work environment that I currently enjoy, but while keeping my eyes well placed in other languages and in future studies.

We all have the right to make plans, choose and generate goals without being judged or criticized, much less by people we do not know. Remember that our common expenses such as services, tastes, obligations and responsibilities are always being paid for with our life time. Time we will not be capable of getting it back.
So, does it worth to take the time to choose?
Very awesome thought and truly deep. I appreciate and do agree, great work.
Thank you!
