RE: When you hear the word Canada do you think "wine country"?

in #travel7 years ago

haha, yea. Girl Scout Cookies were all the rage with my fam in the triangle few years back. Great strain.

I got into wine for a while while I was bootleggin for a couple years. Nearly started a winery so wine used to be a passion for me also.

I've been to Alaska, both summer and winter. If you are afraid of the cold go in summer, it's plenty warm. If you like nature, it is some of the most beautiful you will ever experience. If its the Northern Lights you want to see, your only choice is winter. Don't ever let anyone talk you out of it though, it's crazy worth it!

What is the triangle?

Yes Alaska is now on my bucket list and it sounds like I need to experience both summer and winter. I saw the northern lights in Iceland last year around this time and it was amazing. I sometimes see them here but it was not comparable in the least to whatI saw in Iceland, they were bright and colourful and dancing all over the sky and then they were gone. IT was amazing!

The Emerald Triangle in Northern California is the mecca for weed in the US.

I would love to see the lights in Iceland, from what I understand you get more color. In Alaska it is mostly green until very late in winter when pink and blue come in but still mostly green. I did however get to see some pink and blue :)

Ahhh makes sense, Northern Cali :)

Yes there were primarily green but there were other colours for sure! So amazing, I want to see them again soon.

I would love to also :)
