Ever since my last visit to this beach as an impish kid, I haven't been back for more than 45 years. I'm sure that things have changed so much and become totally unrecognizable. The waves looked pretty darn inviting and I was thrilled to see a less crowded beach in a city where every square inch costs more than an ounce of gold coin.
