Where to begin...

let's rewind to last weekend.

My sister, a friend of ours, and I went on a very eventful camping trip last weekend for the extended holiday from work. They wanted to go skydiving, and had chosen Zephyrhills to be the spot of their first jump. We drove out immediately after getting off work Friday evening, coordinated a camp site for just a few hours that night, long enough for a nap. We were given a lock code over the phone, and gone in the morning before anyone woke up, lol. Then, we headed to Skydive City, where after hanging out for awhile, they determined the wind was too unpredictable to take the tandem & student jumpers up. So we rescheduled for the following day. After a very interesting evening, including not being able to find our campsite, we got a few hours of sleep (not at the proper site 😂) and headed back to Zephyrhills. The State Park that we were staying at was about an hour away. Once we got to Skydive City, the instructors recognized the committed returners, and got them suited up for one of the first trips up. They nailed it! What an awesome experience. I think my sister and I have decided to get our master skydiving certification, real talk! :)

Some cool graffiti art on the side of City Hall.
We enjoyed the rest of our day free. Adventuring the neighborhood, taking pictures, and checking out one of the only, still standing, Drive-In movie theaters! Only after we made sure we found our proper campsite, and set everything up! Or so we thought...

After an awesome day, we are set to hike two and a half miles into the woods, just after dark, to where we left our camp set. We bumped into some deer and unidentified wild animals, but the walk was cool. Site was still in tact, but we had another set of campers camping in the area since we left. We were under the impression it was multiple sites, so we thought nothing of it. Apparently it's not, and we yet again, managed to be in the wrong location!! We still don't know how the miscommunication happened, but it did, and without saying a word to us, the father called the ranger out to the site and we were escorted to where we were supposed to be at three o'clock in the morning (on the opposite side of the park, mind you)!! Wow! We got a refund, but still. Either way, we weren't going to let this rain on the next day's adventure! Devil's Den...

What an absolutely amazing experience, and cool location! Well, time to get home, right after we grab some #Thai #food for dinner. I drove the long late leg so the girls could get some sleep for work in the morning.

Remodel Update

patchin' up bad spots, seams, and holes, along with pullin' up the last pieces of old floor.

We grabbed some of the first gallons of finish paint and got down some more floor. All the prep work is just about finished, after that it should come together quickly! We're excited.

Last but not least, I think I found my favorite thing to do, here, on #Steemit. #Live DJ mix set streamed on #Dlive! I will probably host something scheduled & regular, but also be guilty of just jumping on and throwing down for a couple hours 🎧. So keep your eyes peeled for announcements. I have been performing as a Disc Jockey for nine years now, and strongly feel that I can add a lot of value by gettin' you into that work groove. Listen while you put those finishing touches on that next blog post. The shows will also serve as a social gathering, via the live chat. I welcome and invite everyone to come hang out, or just mention it to your friends for M.E. 😉 Once the new place comes together, we can set up a studio for doing multi-angle live #video with the decks! If everyone continues to enjoy the tunes, maybe building a mobile rig to do flash sets anywhere with y'all! Now we're talking... but I need your help no matter where this goes.

Thank you as always, y'all are kick a$$! Things are just beginning, and it's very exciting, so thank you, again. I hope everyone enjoyed the updates and the adventure, I know we did, and I do enjoy including y'all. Creative partners and responsibility buddies as I see it. Something I need from time to time, haha. I suppose one great way to wrap this up is with a question:

Favorite music genre to bust a move?

I love dancing, so don't be shy, you are in good company here. I probably do my most interesting work with up-beat electronic, i.e. House.
