So the last days of February came. And for the majority of the inhabitants of the northern regions, the most long-awaited period is coming - the period of the onset of spring. Each of us is looking forward to spring sunny days, waiting for the appearance of the first vegetation and foliage in the trees, everyone hopes for their dreams and plans for the upcoming rest and planned travelings. So I and my family plan my forthcoming spring holiday in early May to spend in Karelia on a motor boat on the Lake Ladoga. For these purposes, I first of all bought an inflatable PVC boat "Cayman-N400".
The boat is very roomy and can accommodate all my family with equipment for traveling around the lake. But all the time it would be problematic to swim with oars, so I decided to purchase a small boat motor for a beginner. I chose the motor of the company "Mercury".
Thanks to the fact that all the rest of the equipment we already had (tent, sleeping bags, fishing tackle, tools and equipment), I think we are ready for the May trip through the expanses of the huge Ladoga Lake in Karelia.
I'm looking forward to May 2018 to go on our first trip on our own boat. Of course, the whole lake we can not pass, but we can overpower the southern part and the skerries with the channels. I hope so ...
