Hi guys how's it going today?
Today I'm gonna talk about when we went to Rome in 2011.
Around this time we were still studying in the Netherlands and it was during the summer break so we decided why not go to Rome for a week? We got some cheap tickets with Alitalia and found a very cheap motel named Tiber Camping. Long story short, cheap isn't always better. To be fair we were students so we couldn't really afford a nice hotel.

This is what it looks like online, seems nice, well kept and clean. Right? Well, it isn't.
We got there late at night and the staff was kind of fed up because it was late I guess but we managed to get our 'trailer'. Boy, were we surprised. The inside was dirty as fuck. Like they never cleaned it before. From the moment we got in there we started sneezing non-stop.
The next day we woke up early to buy some bread and water. After we ate breakfast we went to catch the shuttle going to the center.
After maybe half an hour we were in the center and this is maybe one of the first pictures I took here.
We headed toward the obelisk for a better view. One of the first things you see is 5-7 men walking around with roses to sell. One of them came straight at me and started harassing me into buying a couple of roses. I had to buy some because I can't really say no and the girlfriend was also happy.
After walking around all day enjoying the scenery and the many churches. We ended up here to eat in one of these alleys near this obelisk. We ordered some wine, pizza, and a lasagna. The wine is pretty cheap here. I really enjoy after a long day to just sit and eat and have a little drink.
Don't we all?
