It’s a beautiful ride. You’re almost guaranteed to see wildlife. We saw probably one hundred dear today. There’s always birds of prey perched somewhere in site. We stopped at the south end of Palmer lake.
it was a beautiful site to see. Half the lake frozen while the other half was thawed in the sun. It’s a great time in the summer too! You can find shacks and b&b to stay in while you’re there if you wanted.
Today there was ice pushing up on the boat ramp and the family was tossing it onto the ice to watch it slide. It really slide far too 😁 
Should have gotten some brooms and went curling.

Beautiful. Winter is definitely not my favourite season when it comes to the cold but I do love the beauty in nature that comes with the season.
It’s worth the moment in life to stop and enjoy.
