Expect the all those various food, you can enjoy in excellent desert, and one of the most interesting there is fried Ice Cream (with Passion Fruit in our case). It’s interesting how long prepare of it is, 5 minutes for just one portion, though ice-cream Master was so fast.

It is hard to find some street where nobody offers durian fruit, very popular Malaysian and Asian fruit. Durian fruit is a tropical fruit known for its unusual, spiky appearance and strong smell. You will love it or you will hate it! Neutral don't exist. I can’t accept this smell and I’m always avoiding it in wide distance because it makes me feel ill.

For Europeans, frogs, snails, insects and even some seafood is strange food and it is rare person who will try it. Most of them will just watch with disgusting or even avoid. Except adventurous foodies. I was brave and decided to taste the frogs. I was impressed. It looks so sleazy that you cannot imagine how frog actually has delicious taste.

Hi mateyav, if you haven't already been there you should go to Penang and Langkawi island in the norht, they have some special local dishes. As an example in Penang, Georgtown they make a very laksa, (Soup). Great post
Buy the way Langkawi is taxfree, so everything is so cheap there :-)

I was in Malaysia two months ago and just three days in :)

I went from Bangkok, on a one week trip through Malaysia, to singapore, a little while ago. I live in Thailand, so it wasn't that long. Of course it was like 20 hours to come, to the Malaysian border, by train but it was not thousand airmiles I mean :-)

Looks delicious!
