"Bus Burger": the concept that proposes to visit Paris by eating hamburgers

The "Bus Burger", a former renovated bus, proposes to discover Paris - through a tourist route - while enjoying hamburgers. The menus vary between 22 and 27 euros.

This is a concept that should please lovers of the capital ... and gourmands! Since 16 June, the "Bus Burger" - a former bus refurbished in a restaurant - offers to discover Paris while eating burgers.

With 33 seats and an American Dinner, the bus runs from 2 rue Jacquard (in the 11th arrondissement of Paris) and follows a tourist route for about 1h15. The Bastille square, Notre Dame, the new bridge, the Eiffel Tower - where a "photo" stop is planned - the Arc de Triomphe or the Place de la Concorde.

On board, passengers can also benefit from an individual outlet to recharge their smartphone, a wifi connection and each table has a personalized light.

Hamburgers made in France

As for the hamburgers, they are prepared upstream and then transported on the bus in waterproof boxes. They are then heated directly in the bus - in a microwave - in order to be served warm to customers. The menus range from 22 to 27 euros. A "Veggie Burger" menu with a vegetable steak is even offered.

On its website, "Bus Burger" boasts of offering "100% French" burgers. "We favor short lines," explains Christophe Charret, the creator of the concept.

Burgers are made with bread from a Hauts-de-Seine baker, pastry, Charolais meat and fresh vegetables purchased from small producers. "We postulate to have the Origin France guarantee label," continues Christophe Charret.

Other concepts aboard a bus

Spending friendly moments aboard a bus is however not a real novelty. In particular, there is the "Bustronome": an imperial bus set up as a restaurant with a glass roof that offers gourmet trips - lunches, afternoon tea and dinners - for two and a half years in Paris. Faced with the success met, a concept in London will even be launched in September.

There are also "evening buses" to party in Paris. "Evening Bus" and "Bus Nightclub" offer for example parties with DJ and music, as in nightclubs. For those who like to push the song, there is also the karaoke bus "Party Bus".

The accordion bus "Stan & Walter" allows him to land in a comfortable lounge, in a cozy atmosphere, with an aperitif and catered meals.
